Ear & Body Piercing/Tragus infection

Question
Hi, I have a question about my tragus piercing. I got it pierced around 3 monts ago and it's not healing. I soak it in saline solution everyday but often it starst swelling, a bubble forms around it and it starts bleeding. After a few days or a week it goes away but then happens again a few days later. Unfortunately I can't go to the salon where I got it pierced (side note: i live in a small country, small town and I believe people here aren't aware of new technologies, I'm sure my piercing was done right, but the piercer told me to clean it with hydrogen peroxyde which I know is bad, so all the information I have is from the internet and it might not be 100% correct) I have streched ears and had an infection once and it healed pretty quickly but I guess cartilage heals differently. The jewelry i have is made from titanium. I'm scared it'll never heal or will start migrating and I'll have to take it out. What can I do to make it start healing?

Answer
Hi Rita,
It seems that you may benefit from more protective care. Check my studio aftercare suggestions for details at
http://www.piercingexp.com/faq/aftercare.html

Pay special attention to keeping the area dry, and avoiding contact with moisturizer and hair products.

See your healthcare provider if it does not rapidly recover.
