Question my daughter who has hearing aids developed a pimple like bump on the outer edge of her ear. It started pale and is now brown. Seems to be draining from it some and also from ear a little. I thought at first it was irritation from the aids but now I am curious if it is something else. Can you tell me what it is? Should she see the ent or the audiologist- thanks
Answer This may be a small furuncle or boil that has developed from local irritation by the hearing aid. You probably should see both the audiologist and the ENT as the audiologist may need to adjust the mold of the hearing aid.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
