Eastern Orthodox/Baptism for the dead

Hi, I talking with a Mormon about this, I sent him stuff, saying the early church didn't do it, just a sect did. He sent me a article, saying E. O. C. practice it. Thanks, Rick

I have never seen , read, or heard of anything even remotely close to "baptism for the dead" in the Orthodox Church.  That includes every century, every jurisdiction, every corner of the earth.  If some minor heretical sect did it, so be it.  Heretics happen.  It was never the practice of the Church.  And it never will be.

Mormons like to make stuff up to support their claims.
