Question
When the bison were being over hunted in the 1870's, did it effect the wolf populations in yellowstone.

Answer
Hi Sam
 Yes because whenever there is a decline in a prey population (Bison) there is a decline in the predators. (Wolves)
 The populations of both animals is maintained in the Park only because hunting is not permitted there.
 The wolves in the west are being are being hunted in an attempt to wipe them out
