Question Hello,
Does Ecuador's cities have any skating rinks for the public either roller or over ice? I'm coming for an extended visit to Ecuador and wondered if I should bring my skates?
Thank you,
Judy
Answer Good afternoon Judy,
The only ice skating rink that I am aware of in Ecuador is located in the CCI (Centro Comercial Inaquito), located on Av. Amazonas & NNUU. It is relatively small, and operates Monday to Sunday, from 10h00 until 21h30. I believe it costs about $3 for 30-minutes. Skate rental is available.
In terms of roller skating, there aren't parks as such, but Quito has a an excellent ciclovia (bicycle path) that can be used by skater (inline or roller), cyclists etc.
