I'm a 14 year old Hispanic girl from America who wants to go to Egypt and have a great time. I'm going to Egypt for my 15th birthday with my mom, just us girls, so i just want to know if taking the tour of Egypt that includes us being on a daily schedule good or should we just go on our own and just rent a car and get directions on the way. lolls. i need some information on HOW to enjoy visiting Egypt without getting lost and not having to wake up at 7 in the morning. so if U have any answers of how i could enjoy exploring Egypt freely AND safely i would really appreciate it. Hope you enjoy your Egyptian celebration.
It is better to be with a tour not for safety reasons, as Egypt is very, safe but because of traffic problems. It is very difficult to use a car in Egypt for the first time. Egyptians are very helpful but not their roads.
Do not worry about getting lost. English is a common language and you will find someone to help anywhere.
To enjoy your time you have to choose between resorts, e.g. sharm, dahab, hurghada, or Luxor. Other alternative is Cairo or Alexandria when you can enjoy night life and shopping. In Egypt, it is not common to start a day early. So, do not worry about 7 am.
Again, no worries about safety and you totally free to move around.
My advice is Hurghada or Cairo; the former is a very nice resort while the later is one of the biggest cities in the world. You choose.
