Im thinking about moving to El salvador, I have a friend who paying me rent to live in my apartment and he is sending money to his family in El Salvador.
he has told me allot of good things about over there. I plan to visit there this year as he plans to move back this year.
My mom likes the Idea of moving there and she will receive a 800 a month pension and wanted to know if she can live off of that there.
Also I am in the IT field I speak english/Spanish and do technical support computer repair. Would I be able to find work over there or start a business please let me know thanks.

Now, yes I'm sure you will find this country a nice place to live, and your incomes are enough to let you live in a nice place and have some fun, this is not paradise and our main concern are some areas (like any other country.!!), but those areas are well identified...
regarding your mom, and donīt understand if sheīs going to live with you or alone, but lets make numbers
$200 - or more for rent (more $$$ a nicer house or apartment ok..)
this is just an example of course and values can vary.... but concluding, you can live off of $800 here...
now, a job for you, sure... you could work for a call center...

What I would like to do is make as much connections before I go down there so I can at least work so that I wont have to use any of my mom's pension money so that she can enjoy her retirement.
Also I would like to start a business maybe a computer shop or importing exporting computers or parts maybe setting up a internet cafe since my friend that is from there has a small restauraunt what do you think of my plan and do you think what I am trying to do is possible?

Answer I do work in the IT Field as well, and I can see you have enough skills and credential to make your way around here, and according to my experience can tell you that a quick job could be in a call center, I could point you where and how, but you gotta be here to apply for the interview..!!!
the Internet cafe..?? well it's an already crowded area here, but if you set it in the correct area can be a good business, importing computer parts sounds a better choice, but you can have a mix of your ideas in a single place (Internet cafe, computer shop and repair, importing, etc)
