Question
HI, im thinking if getting a knew guitar. I have never had any lessons but people tell me im good. I consider myself a beginner and i want to know what my next guitar should be. My first guitar was a cort g-series. I went to the local guitar shop and the guy there siad i should buy a fender because they are consistent with making good guitars. Just wanted to hear an experts opinion. Thanks.

Answer
Hey Josh, Fender's are great guitars man. I think the guitar you buy should be based more on the style of music you want to play though. Strats are great for Blues, Rock, funk not my top choice for Jazz or Heavy Metal though. Les Pauls are great for Blues, Jazz, Classic & Modern Rock & Metal. There are also a lot of other great guitars out there, but Gibson & Fender are my favorites. Hope that helps, if you have any other questions just drop me a line.
Peace - J.
