Question
Mr Genocide,

I have a Dimarzio SuperDistortion (bridge) and a Dimarzio "Humbucker From Hell" for my Tokai Les Paul. Also, I just bought 4 push/pull pots and I wonder how I could wire these pups a la Jimmy Page... or in any way so as to obtain the most different sounds possible... My soldering skills are between beginner to moderate.

Answer
Hey Remi,

Thanks for writing. This is a case in which a few pictures are worth a thousand words. Here is a website that walks you through wiring push/pull pot wiring. They use a Fender Strat, but the principles are the same. The site is a Christian music site and, while they tend to think of my music as violent and generally evil in nature, I trust them when it comes to wiring and repair diagrams. My email address is:

                  jgenocidepatterson@yahoo.com

Write me back and let me know if this gets you started. If not I'll either get you another source or I'll lay out the diagram myself. Thanks again for writing. Here is the wiring website:

Make sure to stay in touch.... Johnny
