Subject: signed Hondo ll guitar (Regards serial number)

Question
Hiya,

Once again, thanks for replying so quickly! You mentioned in your last message that in order too date it you need a serial number from inside the sound hole. Because the guitar is electric it doesn't have a sound hole (instead it has what i belive to be called a Humbucker pickup). can you suggest were the serial number would be please? you can see pictures of my guitar on the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Wz4Fs1oZ-I

Thank you!

Jake

Answer
Hey Jake,

Thanks for correcting this error. I somehow thought it was an acoustic guitar. OK, this changes things. The serial number, if not on the back of the headstock (where the tuning pegs are), it will be on the backside of of one of the pickups. By the way, the John Lennon signature looks like it could be real. Look underneath the pickup near the neck first and you should find a number. If not I can try to date the guitars via the pictures. Thanks for writing and stay in touch.
