Question
Hi, i've been playing guitar for around two years and have a line 6 spider III 30w amp and an epiphone les paul custom. my line 6 amp didn't live up to my expectations, i like a distorted sound but the line 6 didnt sound that great with it. I've always wanted a marshall amp and i want to know what you think, thanks

Answer
Hey Josh, Marshall amps are great man, just make sure you get one that's full tube & not one of those Valve-state models. They are quite expensive though, so if you find they are too pricey, there are other options to look at that are full tube. For example, Traynor makes a model called the YCV50BL which is voiced to sound a lot like a Marshall, Epiphone makes a great little amp called the Valve standard & Fender makes one called the Blues Junior. All are great amps, voiced a little bit differently from one another, so will excel at certain styles more than the others. You'll have to try them out & decide which sound is more for you. Hope that helps, if you have any other questions, just drop me a line.
Peace - J.
