Electric Guitars/jc higgins guitar


hello  i have a guitar that had jc higgins on the head stock  it looks like its 60s or so  3 pickups  a very inexpensive piece  i cant seem to find out anything about it  i know that higgins was a sears worker  they used his name on many things  guns  bicycles  ect  can you help?  thanks

Thanks for writing! Can you send me a photograph of the guitar? This would help me identify the model, etc. It is very hard to find out anything about the off-off brands. Sears used to sell Teisco guitars which have become very popular with collectors over the last few years. Let me know about the picture and I'll get you some information. Write back...Johnny
