Question On some of the songs on Face the Music, it sounds like there is a different singer sharing lead vocals. Is that true, and if so, who was it?
Answer Hello Bob,
Face the Music was the first LP where Bassist Kelly Groucutt came on the scene. Kelly was choosen for many reasons. One being that his voice complimented Jeffs. On Face the music and the next few LPs you can clearly hear Kelly doing some of the lead vocals, but not a lot. Jeff was always the lead vocal on the songs, but Kelly would have parts where he would stand out.
On Face the Music you can clearly hear Kelly in the songs Nightrider and Poker.
