Expert: Will Date: 5/19/2008 Subject: 2 1/4 horse 220 to 110 conversion
Question Hi Will, I've got a Dewalt 2 1/4 single phase cap motor (Powershop 770 delux 10" radial arm saw)- it was wired 220 but the face plate has a 110 wiring shown - which I followed. Nothing at start - zero. I was wondering if I have to rewire the start switch also? Existing Cap is O.K. for 110?
Answer Garon,
Nope, the connection on the box is all you need to convert voltage.
send the connection to me service@emrrepair.com or wbwill@sbcglobal.net yiou can attach a file that way, I will double check you [those connection plates are confusing]
