Question
I have a client who wants a fan motor 5hp 380v 3ph 60Hz. The company we deal with said that 380v is 50Hz and haven't of what the client wants. Is there such a motor? and where could I find one? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Commonly 380V is a european voltage at 50Hz.
However on some imported equipment 380V at 60Hz is also there.

If indeed they want a 380V at 60hz motor, then it will have to be rewound from 460 to 380 at 60hz.
let me know. we can supply and wind the motor. 604 879 6141, in BBY bc. Ask for Singh
