Question I am confused about phasing in electricity. First is it possible to run single phase and three phase from the same electrical panel? Is it also possible to run three phase equipment on single phase feed?
Answer Yes you can get single phase from your three phase panel. You will use one or two lines. For standard single phase voltage, 115/230, your line voltage will need to be no higher than 240 volts.
You can't use single phase for three phase equipment without a phase converter.
