I suggest you choose one that a) fits the course requirements and b) is of great personal interest to you. It is rather a waste of your time to do a project that is someone else's desire.
By now in your education cycle you would have in mind a field or study area that has personal intrigue and is of interest to you and causes you to ponder more deeply into the principles and techniques.
In my own case, when I was a young engineer, I was intrigued with audio power amplifiers and so my project was to design and build a 50w stereophonic power amplifier using ECAP modeling for the schematic analysis and construction of the amp on a pc generic board.
There are many project ideas that you can google or bing which will give you ideas. Also, please refer to comments that I have given to other students when they make similar requests to me. You can find them at:
