Electrical Engineering - 3 Phase Power Measurement

Expert: cleggsan - 8/15/2009

Question
Sir,
We are doing the Project Real time power monitoring connected with Load.  Measuring Parameters are V, I, Freq, PF, Power.  How to acquire the 3 phase parameters by using CT and PT.  Which IC to be used for acquiring data.  I kindly required the Schematic Diagram.  How to Connect CT and PT and its Procedures.

Thanking you,

Answer
I am not clear on exactly what you want to learn but the following suggestions talk about the principles and methods for measurements where current an voltage transformers are used in the collection of data.  Also, a couple of devices from TI and ADS are suggested.
