Question
i am a final year student in e&e,so can you suggest some good topics on energy system based projects?

Answer
I am getting many of these requests lately.  Getting close to end of school year I suppose.

Congratulations on your progress in your school work.  It will be a great contribution to your career.

Here is what I suggest for you to do,  There are so many project categories and so many projects already online that a good google or bing search will bring you many ideas and possible outlines for your interest.

Here is my experience; a good project must be one that excites and entertains your brains.  Going this far in your studies  you should, by now, have a field within your studies that has given you the inquisitive feelings.  The subject of energy systems is so very broad that it must be narrowed down to a field that relates to your area of interest and expertise.  For example one of my correspondence was interested in wind/turbine energy and he/she ended up doing a complete investigation into how storage systems that can hold the wind generated energy until it is needed on the grid.  Another student researched the most efficient methods of generation and the best way of linking the propeller rotation with the generator shaft for maximum torque and horsepower transfer.  Bio fuels and solar energy are also of interest.  There are a number of hardware projects you can to with solar that are comprehensive but easy to do in a lab. You might want to measure the output/cm^2 for different solar panels and light levels and angstroms.  You might want to look at high power converters that take the dc voltages out of solar panels or dc wind generators and converts to AC line voltages......

You can do this with a couple hours of googling and checking your interest barometer as you jiggle around with a few good ideas.

Best wishes,
C
