Answer
USB can cover all those applications you stated in your question.

Here is a description of one unit:

Description
AirStash ® is a USB flash drive with a built-in battery that allows you to share & stream media from a compatible memory card to any Wi-Fi device. This enables up to eight users to view documents & photos or up to three users to view streaming video from their own wireless devices. It’s also great for transferring & backing up your photos while travelling – just plug in your camera’s SD card directly into the AirStash ® card slot & wirelessly share the files with your other device. No internet access is needed; if you're in an area without Wi-Fi, AirStash ® creates its own Wi-Fi HotSpot. It provides 7 hours of battery life & can be recharged via your computer’s USB port or an USB adapter plug. Connector / Port / Interface: USB; Storage Capacity: 8 GB.
