Question
Dear Prof Cleggsan

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_projector

Can we use Wireless Technology viz Bluetooth or Wi-Fi for connecting Smartphone Device to Video projector device ?.

Smartphone Device will detect the Video projector device via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Both devices will be Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled.

The Smartphone device  software application will allow power point presentations given by the speaker to be redirected to the video projector device which will display the presentations for the audience to view on the video projector.

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar

Answer
Yes, of course. There are products in the marketplace which do the very thing you are suggesting.  ONce again Panasonic comes to the rescue with various projection devices that have builtin wireless connectivity and an app for the smartphone.
