Dear Prof Cleggsan

Is it possible to benchmark with different tests performed and define a table for different materials viz Wool, Silk, Amber, Nylon, Rubber etc regarding the Elasticity nature in them ?.

For examples :

Can we derive saying Wool is more elastic than Silk ?.
Nylon has the least elastic property ?.

The Table defined will have two columns namely Material and Elastic property. The Elastic property column will have a numeric or % field.

Is it possible to define such a table or any other alternative tests performed ?.

This is an electrical engineering page.

Elasticity and Youngs Modulus is more a mechanical or civil engineering subject.

However, there are many tables showing characteristics relating to stress, strain, shear and elasticity with  a simple google search.

Some materials do not describe well with only elasticity data but need more characteristics to be thorough in describing the materials qualities.
