Question
Dear Prof Cleggsan

Do you feel Electronic lock with password can enhance security in commercial airlines for passengers luggage storage facility?.

Thanks
Prashant

Answer
Security for commercial airlines is a very complicated system of checks and procedures.  How a locking system fits in with the other security regulations and procedures for passenger luggage is required to work within constraints of luggage handlers, equipment used to transport luggage from terminal to plane and authority to open and close storage areas.  Therefore, being an electrical engineer and not an aviation expert I will give you a neutral opinion.

In other words I have no worthwhile recommendation on the matter.
