Can we extend Fourier transform equations to all trigonometric functions ?.

viz Tan, Cot, Sec, Cosec other than Sin, Cosine

Can the Fourier series be applied to other trigonometric  functions ?.

viz Tan, Cot, Sec, Cosec other than Sin, Cosine

Fourier transforms are for continuous or periodic wave analysis. We use them in electronic and electrical circuitry for showing frequency and time domain representations.  

But, the trig functions, by looking at their identity, can be transformed into sine or cosine wave equivalence can't they?
