Electrical Engineering/Color Fax Machine.

Dear Prof Cleggsan

Is it mandatory to have a color fax machine at the receiving end to receive the color fax?

If yes, is it technically feasible by system upgradation that the fax machine still
receives the fax in color form?

It is common for most fax machines of today to have default reception of color fax to print it out in b/w.

Older machines cannot easily be upgraded because the entire print electronics, print engine and ink color must be changed.

Actually, so many computers have software fax send and receive and can receive fax for printing in color very easily.

Let me know if you need more information.
