Dear Prof Cleggsan

Similar to inverted triangle, Is it possible to draw inverted pentagon, septagon, nonagon i.e for all polygons having odd number of sides?

Answer
Your question is too far away from electrical engineering and my field of experience. It is more in the math area. I recommend you to try mathematics experts.

There are several interesting readings on your question if you do online searching with Google or Bing.
