Question Hi, I am 16 and wishing to go into computer engineering. My marks arnt that high, so first im not sure it i would get into university. How is electrical engineering? Can you please describe how it is in a university..as im clue less.
What is the chance of me getting the degree, if i do get in? My average rite now are in the high 70s, yet i still dont feel confident.
Any advice would be great.
Answer An engineering curriculum includes a substantial amount of math and science. If these subjects are interesting to you, then you could be a good engineering candidate. With average grades, you probably can't get into one of the highest rated universities, but there are many others from which to choose. It would also help if you work on related projects as a hobby. (I was always interested in science even as a child, and spent a lot of time learning things related to engineering before I went to college.)
Engineering courses at a university are challenging for most people. Especially calculus and thermodynamics. You might want to get some familiarity with these in the years before you finish high school.
