Question
Dear all
1.How can a capacitor boost the  starting for motor. From what I know
the capacitor functions are to store energy and act as a filter. How are
these criteria can be related to boosting the starting of the
motor.Could you explain in detail

Answer
Yes, that is true, but there is lead and lag in the capacitor as it takes time to store the energy in it and time to discharge it.  The inductance of the coils in machinery has the opposite effect, so using these in combination make for very timely current and voltage cycles in either boosting currents or diminishing them, all depending on what is to be accomplished.

You should study basic electric alternating theory and motor theory.  It will help you to know.
