Question Recently some electrical wires were replaced in my 68-year old house. Now my kitchen light (3-way: 3 doors opening to kitchen and can use any of the switches)takes from 30 seconds to two minutes to come on. What's the problem? Thanks

First of all who did the wiring was it a Electrician? What sounds like somewhere there may some loose wires. Having a bad connection sometimes will do that as the power gets turned on but not enough volts are making contact as the wires start to find that path eventually it makes contact. This won't last for long as the connection may burn out from to much arcing. If this was a Electrician then I would have them come back and fix this. If you wired this then go back to every box that the switches are on and recheck. I have enclosed a diagram of a 3 way system if you just have 2 switches in the system it is a 3-way system.
