Electrical Wiring in the Home/Touch Table Lamp Repair

Neutral wires go to red wire.

Incoming power goes to black.

Black wire from lamp goes to white.

Yellow goes to metal on lamp.

I followed the instructions posted previously

and blew up my Zing Ear TP-01. Don't believe

everything you see on the internet!

That wasn't quite right based on the instructions that came with the unit I just installed.

Red goes to incoming power AND out to the lamp socket center post

Black goes to the incoming neutral

White goes to the lamp socket shell

Yellow wire with crimp ring goes to the lamp metal
