Electrical Wiring in the Home/space heater/outlets

When we run a space heater in our living room, all of the outlets in the room get warm. (Even ones on the opposite wall from where the heater is plugged in.)  This only happens when we run the space heater.  Any ideas?

It sounds like the amp draw on the heater may exceed what that circuit can handle properly.

If so, you could start a fire.

You may need to run that heater on a dedicated circuit.

It is cheaper to have an electrician run you a dedicated circuit than to lose your belongings to an electrical fire.
