Electrical Wiring in the Home/crackling behind switch plate

i would like to know about the crackling noise from my switch plate when i turned it on. i just noticed it. i'm afraid it will start a fire in the wall

It sounds like your light switch is arcing when you turn it on.

The switch wears out and instead of a quick snap close it allows the contacts to come close enough to arc before closing.
And, on top of that the contacts get worn out and they start to pit which leads to arcing.

The crackling noise you hear is the arcing.

You need to replace the switch with a good quality switch. And if the switches in your house are all about the same age it would be smart to just go ahead and replace them all with good quality switches.
