Electrical Wiring in the Home/Residential outlets

How many outlets can you put on one 20 amp circuit in a residential home.

Excluding dedicated circuits, there is no limit. They are called convenience outlets because they are located for convenient access.
Circuit density may be determined by application, however, depending on anticipated loads.
If you will have a number of eight ampere loads operating at the same time, for example, then you would want to install additional circuits to power them.
