Electrical Wiring in the Home/changing a switch

Question
I have a switch that has failed. I need to buy a new one and I need instructions on how to do this properly.  If you could help me it would be greatly appreciated. It's a switch with 2  different buttons for 2 different lights. One of two switches is not working correctly.  The circuit breaker is fine. Thanks.

Answer
Remove the old switch from the wall after turning off the breaker feeding it.  Number the wires with masking tape and then draw a picture of how the wires are connected to the switches.  Remove the wires from the old switch, and place them in exactly the same place on the new switch.  Turn on the breaker.  That should do it.  Jeff
