Question
I have a 3 way switch in the house and in the garage that controls the garage light .  I would like to change  the switch in  the garage to a recepticle that still is  controled by the house switch.  How do it wire the recepticle?

Answer
You are going to have to find the power and run it to this location.  The switch only has the power going to the light no neutral is present most likely.  You will have to come off of the power going to the garage light if you want it to work with the switch.  If you remove either of the 3 way switches you might have more problems than you want to deal with.  Happy Holidays - Jeff
