Electrical Wiring in the Home/christmas lights

Question
A string of my mini christmas lights are not working. I have a bulb tester and every bulb seems to be good. So how do I test the sockets to see where the problem might be?

Answer
You wont like this answer.  They are not worth the time it takes to find the problem.  I throw mine away every year and buy new.  I takes a long time to take each one out, replace with a new one, reverse, move on, etc.   One bulb will stop the whole string.
