How do I wire in photo cell to the outdoor post lamp

photo cell has three wires- black, red and white

lamp has three wires- black, white and ground

Post wires are black, white and ground

Hi.

If you don't have the instructions, the normal way to wire it is:

all whites together.

all grounds together.

black from the power to the black on the electric eye.

black from the fixture to the red on the electric eye.
