QUESTION: I need to know some way of displaying video content as part of a device I am making which allows a single piece of video to be viewed continuously (with ||/>, >>, <<, >>| and |<< options). Like a portable DVD player with only 1 built in option

Is it a video file, like a mp4 format file ?
Whats the display your are planning to use ? I mean, a PC monitor or LCD TV ??

Depending upon the video format and the display you want to use, your device will vary ...


Don't tell me, you are planning to use a colour LCD module, like the one available on any mobile phone ...
I don't think it will be an easy task ...
