Question
To be brief:
I have a R/C airplane radio transmitter + receiver. It runs small electro-mechanical servomechanisms. They are run by PWM signals to produce small voltages. How can I run a large full size hydraulic servo linear actuator (analog or digital) using the small signal/voltage.

Answer
I think you can run larger size servos with the same principle. PWM or pulse width modulation is a way of changing the width of the pulse and therefore the power that is going into the drive.  It can be scaled up to drive larger sized servo motors and actuators.

For example:  http://pico-systems.com/pwmbox.html

They are just examples. I am not affiliated with this link in any way.

Hope this helps.
