Question
Dear zz

Do you feel that a person Who knows to drive car well will also able to drive Heavy vehicles without taking any formal training?.

Thanks & regards
Prashant s akerkar

Answer
Some training will be necessary due to the requirements of the vehicle (such as transmission, gear shifting, backing and parking into spaces, etc.  ) and rules of the road (which are quite different from passenger vehicles (such as hours/day limitations, monitoring highway grades and inclinations, shifting down to meet lane changing requirements, etc. ).

In the USA a special license to drive big rig and heavy duty vehicles is required by law.
