Question
Hey!

I'm sending serial data from a PIC microcontroller to a PC's RS232 port via UART. Do you know where this data sent gets stored at? Or is there any way I can bring this data (suppose a character) to a program like Microsoft Word?

Regards.

Answer
Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question.

I would look it up for you but I am away from my office on other business.

May I suggest you send your question to Dave Nyce on Allexperts.com in the Electrical Engineering site.  He has good knowledge in this area.

You can find him at:

Hope this helps.
