Question
Hi

I want o ask that what steps should i follow to calculate the SNR of my system. or what is the procedure to fine out the SNR of the electronic system

regards
uzmeed

Answer
Signal to noise ratio is easily measured using a voltmeter at the output of the system and reading the noise db down from the rated output level.  If there are more than one active amplifiers in the system the snr can be measured for each one or the total from the first input to the final output.  These are analog system measurements of course.

Here is a good overview of snr:

Hope the above examples and tutorials will help. Let me know if you have more directed question.
