The Speed of Light = 299792458 m/s - Universal Physical constant.

1 What is the method used for computing the speed of Light and how this value for the speed of light given above is computed and derived ?.

2 Is there a single method or there can be several methods to calculate
the Speed of Light and derive the above value?.

The earliest measurements were done by Abert A. Michelson in the late 1800s.

The measurement method was simple. By placing a few mirrors around to bounce the light great distances the time could actually be measured and the speed computed. Measurements have been refined greatly over the years with advanced electronic instrumentation.

A google search on ways to measure the speed of light will give you lots of ideas to study and history to digest about this interesting subject.  You can do the search easily on your own computer!
