There are other examples of commercially made units being sold into the marketplace. The smartphone does not require circuit changes but a doorbell button must be used which has camera, microphone and transmitter built into it.

Hope this helps.

QUESTION: Dear ZZ

Thanks.

The Doorbell manufacturer will supply with the modified electronics hardware and also provide a Smartphone App to the Consumer.

The Consumer Using the Smartphone Doorbell app will trigger push buttons for Doorbell rings. This will be a Smartphone Wireless app.

Thanks
Prashant

Answer
Not sure what you said but for the systems already in the market:

-  the doorbell manufacturer makes the hardware button assembly that goes on the outside wall near the entry door.
-  the doorbell manufacturer cooperates with a software company to write the software code for the app.
-  the doorbell hardware is mounted to the outside wall near the door.
-  home owner downloads the app from either apple or android store.

Here is app; https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ringapp&hl=en

Here is hardware kit:

And, since the doorbell connected to the Internet, home owner can answer the door from anywhere; does not need to be at his/her home.  (At least with some models).

Enough?
