Question
Mr. Jones,
I am trying to locate Ellington CD's in which Herb sang "Flamingo." On allmusic.com, it is difficult to find this info.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Steve

Answer
Two CDs that come to mind are Duke Ellington 1940-1941
on the Classics label [French] and on the three CD set Never No Lament/The Blanton-Webster Years on Bluebird. If you look up the latter on Amazon.co.uk you can hear a one minute sound clip of this item.
