About jack jones Expertise i have as a long time enthusiast read extensively about his life and career i have a huge record and cd collection ranging from the mid 1920s up until his final concert some months before his death in 1974.
i also have a large library of books and magazines concerning the duke.

Question I am writing a biography on duke ellington. I have found some information online but I am looking for some information about the types of music he composed/played. (suite,concerto ect) Also I need to review his most famouse record, which would you think that would be? any sites or information would be appreciated..please email me asap thanks
Answer Sorry I don't mean to be rude but you want to write a biography about a man and you are not familiar with his music, I suggest you go to your nearest library and get as many of Duke's CDs and albums you can and listen.
As to his most famous piece of music the man wrote over 1500 items of music, and with all music what is my favourite could be the one that most other people dislike.
There are available several books by various authors dealing with the life and music of Duke Ellington I suggest you read some of these and form your own conclusions.
