Subject: Yahoo Web Mail Lost

Question
I have a pretty frustrating situation, I set up MS Outlook on an old computer that died and I no longer have the hard drive (I think).  The problem is that when I set up Outlook, it downloaded my messages from the Yahoo server and I can no longer retrieve them via the web.  Is there any way to get those emails back from Yahoo?  I did try some of my old Hard Drives in my new Vista PC and I did a search for *.pst but I know that there are permission issues and I don't even find any *.pst files.  It's a mess!
Thank you,
Landon

Answer
No, Yahoo won't retrieve those mails. PST files are generally hidden so make sure when you search you search for hidden files. There shouldn't be any secuirty issues.

I strongly suggest you setup a backup process on your new machine. One good way is to get an external USB drive and backup to it.

Hope this helps
