Question
My 13 year old son has an aol account. Recently, someone has been logging
onto has email and sending out not such pleasant messages which look like they
are coming from my son but someone else is sending them. My question is...Is
there any way to figure out where the email is being sent from...such as who's
computer it's coming from (IP adress) or something???

Answer
First, has he changed his password? Have you checked the Detailed Billing to see if your account has been logged onto at times he hasn't used it?

The e-mail headers should indicate the IP that originated the e-mail, but that won't help you since it will be an AOL generated IP.

I doubt if you can trace this.

Hope this helps
