Subject: collecting emails & address book from previous email address

Question
I have changed servers and have no idea of how to gather the e-mail sent to my previous address nor how to transfer my address book to my new service.  I am not terribly experienced at computer "savvy" and doubt I can follow very complicated instructions...talk "dumb" to me!

Answer
Depends on what services you are switching from and to. As for the address book, generally there is an export option. You export the book to a format your new service can import. Then import into the new service.

Transferring mail depends on whether the mail has been downloaded to your local system. If it has you need to look for an export/import function in the two e-mail systems. If the mai is stored online you may have to forward each oiece of mail individually.

Hope this helps
