Subject: trouble with new version of AVG free version(8)

Question
I have deleted the older version and downloaded the newest (8 version). I now get this message on startup "Could not intiazlize AVG Anti-Virus kerrnel interface. Application cannot run." Somewhere I did in making a choice sent something ? to the VAULT?

Hi Curtis,

Uninstall AVG by following the directions given at:

http://freeforum.avg.com/read.php?2,28206,backpage=,sv=

Once AVG is totally uninstalled, restart Windows, now install AVG8 from:

http://free.grisoft.com/ww.download-avg-anti-virus-free-edition
